As a market leader, we manufacture guide bars for all types of chainsaws, cross-cutting stations and log handling/sorting carriages available on the market. Our range extends from induction-hardened guide bars with pulley for handheld saws, through double-sided stellited guide bars for stationary lines, to EXPERT-LINE series, characterized by maximum service life and resistance to the harshest cutting conditions.

Guide bar refurbishment

Intensive use of a chainsaw leads to grooves forming on the guide bar’s running surfaces, which can be pre-deburred with the PRINZ PEG device. We also offer professional factory refurbishment of guide bars, including straightening, grinding, groove deepening, stellite-facing of running surfaces and painting.

Refurbishment is a highly cost-effective solution. Depending on the condition of the worn guide bar and the required procedures, refurbishment costs typically range between 30 and 70% of the price of a new part, while you receive a component that is practically as good as new. This significantly reduces your cost per cut. On average, a guide bar can be refurbished twice, provided that excessive or uneven wear has been avoided.

To ensure the longest possible service life of the cutting system, we recommend using PRINZ cutting unit lubricating oil, with the appropriate viscosity selected for winter or summer operation.
