For 60 years now, PRINZ GmbH & Co KG, with its head office in Austria/Loosdorf, has been specializing in production of → saw chains, guide bars, chain drive sprockets and pulleys for most of the chainsaws, crosscut stations and roundwood sorting/transporting carriages available on the market. One man, mobile and stationary cutting → chainsaw systems for the woodworking industry are also one of the key areas of our production.

PRINZ manufactures also the full assortment of machines in → carbide technology and → diamond technology, used for cutting walls . Programme for the building industry covers also the → technology of laying horizontal insulation in existing buildings by means of cutting method.

→ Special saws from PRINZ cut far more than just wood. Paper, soft stone, gypsum plates or brickwork  → the robust and durable PRINZ chainsaw technology is a real must for materials that demand much of the machines and their wearing parts.

Many years of practice and paying attention to the programme of research and improvement development, in cooperation with the Technical University in Vienna and the German Max-Planck Institute, allowed us to acquire a series of patents and utility models. We constantly carry out material research, improve production, develop new projects and technologies, which guarantee highest quality for our products. All systems offered by us fully comply with strict European standards as well as fulfil all work safety requirements.

Right from the start, all PRINZ products are developed and produced at Loosdorf in Austria. The high level of in-house production enables PRINZ to react quickly to new market trends and be flexible in considering the wants of individual customers.

PRINZ exports more than 90% of its products to over 120 countries on all continents of the world. In the central and eastern Europe, PRINZ Polska - established in 1996 - offers complex customer service, as well as guarantee and post-guarantee service. The company from Poznan (PL) supplies both small and the largest plants which specialize in the woodworking industry, sawmills, plywood plants and other companies specializing in the building industry in this region.
